Tank Inspection Angola
Tank inspection assesses the shell, floor, roof, appurtenances and foundation of storage tanks to establish condition, remaining life and repair requirements.
Overview
Tank programmes split into in-service external surveys, which can be done while the tank stays in operation, and out-of-service internal inspection during cleaning windows. Openmar supports both: external shell thickness and coating condition, roof and appurtenance survey, foundation and settlement observation, and internal floor and shell assessment when the tank is opened.
Findings are structured around the API 653 evaluation logic so that repair scopes and next inspection intervals follow a defensible basis rather than opinion.
Applications
- Crude, product and chemical storage tanks
- Terminal and depot tank farms
- Water and firewater tanks
- Roof, floating roof seal and appurtenance surveys
- Pre- and post-cleaning internal inspection
